Holiday News

This was part of a Christmas present Dave made me. Dave had organized for me to have this piano last Christmas!! But with the snow in northern ontario it wasn't possible to get the piano until my birthday ....in APRIL!! hehe But i was more than thrilled to have a piano. It however had no front board to cover the piano. SOOOOO... for Christmas this year dave made a front cover. He stained it and routered a verse and design on the front! Isn't it beautiful!!! I love it!. Thanks Dave!!!

Our first newfoundland Christmas was nice. We however were ll struggling with a cold and cough but we were at home where we could just relax. Our landlord came by a few days before and passed me in a turkey(and a big one at that!) and a ham! What a blessing. So I went ahead and cooked a turkey dinner... I have only ever cooked a turkey once before in my life.. well.. it was pretty good.. I even remembered to take out the inards this time!:) We had stuffing and cranberries.. all the christmas stuff... just for us.. now.. we have enough leftovers to have soup, stew, sandwiches, casseroles, .... anyway.. the freezer is full and we are blessed. The kids both got a few clothes which is always handy, and some books. We spent a little time reading a few verse cards together and daily devotionals to help us remember the Lord over the season. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas too. I would love to hear how your family celebrations went. Please leave a comment!

OHHHHH I almost forgot! We leave Friday for Bev Clarke's wedding in PEI. As usual with us Campsall's arrival time in PEI according to driving time and ferry schedule is 2:00 pm sautrday afternoon. The wedding you say?... 2:30 pm!!! Hehe.. see you there(oh.. if you're not going.. i'll post some pictures when we get back!:)

Happy New Year

Love the Campsalls
