Baby....

There is no baby yet... Yes I was in the hospital.Yes I did have contractions 2-3 minutes apart yes they hurt.... then labour stopped.. yes I stayed over night. I woke up in the night and it suddenly occurred to me that "I" was trying everything to make labour happen... and I wasn't wanting to try what "They" wanted(induction, breaking my water, etc.)me to try to make labour happen. In any case I felt like nothing I or the doctors did at this point had brought labour on... perhaps God is not yet ready to bring this life into the world?? Why am I trying so hard? I read in Psalm 143 this morning when I woke up and a few things stood out.. perhaps not in context to what david was thinking but for me it made me think... it said.. deliver me, O LORD, and again quicken me, O LORD. Bringing a child into this world is God's job. I am merely the vehicle in which this takes place. So I left the hospital this morning at peace knowing that this baby is going to come but I am trusting that the Lord will show me the right time.. it's just not quite yet. My EDD(ESTIMATED due date) was December 16th. So I hope this helps explain a little why things have come about the way they are now. If you consider praying for me perhaps it would be more along the lines that God would deliver this child without the "aid" of interventions.. This is my plea and prayer now.
Blessings
Amy

My Little Singers

Pictures!!

Our friends the Mauno's recently gave us a camera so we are back in action here with pictures!! (Thankyou Mauno's!) The children grow so fast I can hardly believe it myself sometimes and I see them everyday!

Mommy and her little girl! Chloe has a hard time being serious in pictures!:)

Playing in our load of snow yesterday. This was them in their cabin with their snow blanket on to keep them warm

Nahum is cute even if he has the leftovers from breakfast on his face!

Chloe and John on a lazy saturday morning.

At our homeschool group on monday mornings we get together and play and learn. This past week we made decorations and wrapped gifts for the daddies who usually have to work when we meet. Here's daddy opening the gifts. The children were so excited to give them!

Here are some recent pictures of the children that a friend has posted on her blog.Just click on the highlighted word "pictures" and scroll down to find them. We still don't have the camera working so we haven't taken any pictures recently. I am 11 days away from my due date for baby number 4 and doing fine. Bags are packed, freezer is full, and friends have gotten me everything pretty much that I will need when the new one arrives. I'm so very thankful for these blessings which seem to relieve some worry.. (although why worry.. but hey i'm human:) I'm baking some christmas bread today.. 8 loaves! hoping that will last until christmas as it is dave's favourite and you could call him a little hooked on pastries! :) We hope to have christmas with the family on both sides this year and it may be that i'll be opening up our house but sitting down to a meal prepared by others.. My family is great and are all planning to pitch in to make stuff and lighten the load for this soon to be new momma.
The children are fine. Chloe is on the mend as we recently found she has allergies to makeup and she landed in the hospital for a night with her asthma acting up. She's out now and seeming to do better. I'm slowly learning what triggers these asthma attacts for her but it sure is discouraging at times to have to do this the trial and error method. I'm just thankful that it hasn't ever been life threatening. Dave has been out recently staking a mining claim close to town here. After a few attempts and a broken compass and nearly getting lost i got him a GPS and that seemed to help a tremendous amount in time and energy. So he recorded it at the mining claims office so now we have a place to scout out with the children and do our cookouts and dave said he even came across the remains of an old cabin we might be able to fix up a bit! So we are looking forward to some family adventures. Not till after the baby arrives mind you:) Sorry to have left this off for so long. Real life gets busy and without a camera it's hard to motivate and fill everyone in on the details of every day busyness. Hope all is well in your part of the world and we want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I hope to have some pictures up on here after the baby is born so don't forget to check back.
